Making BNG easy and giving back to nature

Our Farm, Their Home: Supporting Local Wildlife

We’re lucky to have a family farm in beautiful Weardale, County Durham, and Fenwick, Northumberland. Over the years, it’s become a safe haven for several rare and endangered species, including barn owls, red squirrels, and black grouse.

By taking part in BNG and making improvements to the land, we’re working hard to protect and boost the numbers of these amazing species. It’s all part of our commitment to looking after the land and leaving it better for future generations — both for people and for wildlife.

What makes us different

Independence

Why pay more? As an independent seller from our own land, we cut out third-party costs and hidden fees — offering you top-quality service at unbeatable prices.

Speed and Simplicity

With no middlemen involved, you can agree a cost of the units you require with Steven and have the application to register the units against your development with Natural England in the same day.

Integrity

Independence means we have the freedom to prioritize the best environmental outcomes. This allows us to focus on creating and restoring habitats that truly enhance biodiversity, ensuring each Biodiversity Net Gain project makes a meaningful and lasting positive impact on local ecosystems.

Monitoring Progress

At Sunnybanks Farm and Land, we’re committed to delivering more than just BNG units. We actively support wildlife by putting up bird and bat boxes and will be conducting regular bird and insect surveys. These efforts will help us monitor how improving the habitat is benefiting the entire ecosystem on our land.
